Workers Comp Rule

The Workers Comp Rule is used to define what deductions are used for workers' compensation premiums. This rule needs to be configured as part of the process of implementing workers' compensation in the application. See Workers' Compensation Configuration in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.

Workers Comp Rule Parameters

Respect Work Location Override Province for Employees

Uses the employee's work location override set up in their employee record to calculate the workers' compensation deduction.

Eligible Employee Deduction

The deduction code taken into account for workers' compensation premium payments.

Eligible Employer Deduction

The deduction codes taken into account for the workers' compensation premium payments that the employer pays on behalf of employees.
