Depending on how the pay group is configured in Dayforce, a delivery package can contain payroll checks, direct deposit advices, or payroll reports. The delivery package is prepared and sent by the Dayforce Back Office after you have committed a pay run.
You can view any tracking numbers assigned to your delivery packages and review the shipping details from their courier’s website and determine the status of a delivery package. The following screenshot shows an example of the Package Tracking dialog box:
To check for a tracking number for a pay run from the Overview tab:
- Go to Payroll > Overview.
- Select the checkbox for the appropriate pay run.
- Click Package Tracking to open the Package Tracking dialog box.
To view package tracking for a pay run from the Pay Run Management tab:
- Go to Payroll > Pay Run Management.
- Click Load, then locate and load a pay run.
- Click Package Tracking to open the Package Tracking dialog box.
