As part of the normal Singapore year-end process, you can adjust the payroll data in the IR8A forms by adding quick entries in an off-cycle pay run in the December.
When you're unable to make the adjustments because of system restrictions, such as pay date restrictions, you can also change the system data in the IR8A forms in the Year End Modification tab. You should only make these changes before you submit the forms to the IRAS.
The process of changing the data in the Year End Modification tab involves the following steps:
- In the tab, export the data from the IR8A forms in a CSV file.
- In the CSV file, enter your changes.
- Important: For every row that you've changed in the CSV file, you must enter
Yesin the row's corresponding IsUpdated column. In the import file, Dayforce identifies changes to the data based on the IsUpdated column. - Import the updated CSV file in the Year End Modification tab.
- Submit the year-end files to IRAS.
For more details, see Changing the IR8A Form Data Before Submission.
Note: The changes you've made by importing the CSV file are overwritten when you regenerate the year-end forms in the IRAS AIS e-Submission tab.
