The Overview tab is where you go to import the XML files by using the e-IWO process. The tab contains a grid, which shows the file name, import validation, status, the upload date and time, and who uploaded the file. In addition, you can set filters to filter by File, Import Validate, Status, and Uploaded By. The tab has the option to create, manage, and save favorite views. The Status column indicates the number of total, published, rejected, and unpublished records that are associated with each XML file. An indicator key is available next to Approval Summary and above the toolstrip. The indicator key shows what status each icon represents. Important: Dayforce only accepts e-IWO file imports in XML format.
The following list describes the columns in the Overview tab:
- File: The file must be in an XML format and meet the validation criteria established by the Federal OCSE.
- Import Validation: After the file has been imported, the Import Validation section will display the number of errors in all of the records, number of warnings in all of the records, and number of “clean” records (no errors or warnings) within the file name.
- Status: The Status section provides the total number of records in the file as well as the number of published records, number of rejected records, and the number of unpublished/unrejected records by filename.
- Acknowledgment: The Acknowledgement section will provide the number of records in the file name as well as the number of Acknowledged and Unacknowledged records.
- Uploaded Date: This is the date that the file was imported.
- Uploaded By: This is the person that imported the file.
