Note: If you are working with a ConnectedPay pay group, the Sync Pay Changes button isn’t available.
The sync pay changes wizard in Payroll > Pay Run Management in the Quick Entry sub-tab offers the following four options for synchronizing pay changes:
- Payroll Non Autopay Retro Pay Changes
- Payroll Autopay Retro Pay Changes
- Payroll Elections Retro Changes
- Retro Multi-State Threshold Tax
Using each of these features, retroactive salary changes can be calculated for employees to automatically produce pay entries with the amount of difference owed to them.
In addition to salary changes, the Sync Pay Changes wizard also applies retroactive pay changes when retroactive changes have been made to employee payroll elections for earnings and deductions, as well as changes to generated earnings and generated earning amounts, and changes in taxes for employees who are subject to multi-state threshold taxation.
Important: The application only updates records for employees in the currently loaded pay group.
