Singapore Employees Without Direct Deposit Information

All Singapore employees are required to participate in direct deposit, however, it is possible that an employee hasn't set up the required bank account to receive direct deposit payments. In a case like this, you can still record a payment for this employee in Dayforce using the system payee feature called Employer Manual Payment.

The Employer Manual Payment feature for Singapore organizations is available by default in the Payees tab of Payroll Setup > Third Party Payees. To view the payee record for Singapore, search for the Employer Manual Payment record in the sidebar and filter the search results by operating country.

When you commit a pay run for a pay group that has employees who aren't set up for direct deposit, Dayforce displays a warning message in the Problems panel of Payroll > Pay Run Management. The message indicates that the employee is missing direct deposit information. This is a warning message only and doesn't interfere with the commit process.

Additionally, the employee payslip does not show any payment method in the Net Pay section.
