Run the Sync Pay Changes Wizard

Note: If you are working with a ConnectedPay pay group, the Sync Pay Changes button isn’t available.

Before You Begin: You can run the Sync Retro Pay Changes wizard in Payroll > Data Entry using essentially the same steps as described in this topic. For general information, see Sync Pay Changes Wizard.

To sync retro pay changes:

  1. Go to Payroll > Pay Run Management and load a pay run and click the Quick Entry tab.
  2. Click Sync Pay Changes.
  3. Approve retro pay changes for employees using one of the following methods:
    • For individual employees with retro pay changes, under the Submit for Recalculation column, click Approve.
    • For all employees with pay changes, click Approve All.
  4. In the Confirm Selected Employees section of the wizard, select an earning and check template for each employee, if the options exist.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Click Finish to submit the changes for the application to calculate. This returns you to the Quick Entry sub-tab.
  7. Click Refresh to view the quick entries that the application generated for each synced entry.
