Retrieve AEPN from NAERSA

For Ireland pay groups, in Pay Setup > Pay Group, you can configure Dayforce to retrieve the Automatic Enrolment Payroll Notification (AEPN) for a pay group’s employees who are part of a selected legal entity. This task is part of a larger procedure to set up pension auto-enrolment. See Ireland Pension Auto-Enrolment.

When the Retrieve AEPN records during calculation setting is selected, Dayforce calls the National Automatic Enrolment Retirement Savings Authority (NAERSA) API during the payroll calculation stage, fetching the AEPN in both normal and off-cycle pay runs.

To configure a pay group to retrieve AEPN:

1. Go to Pay Setup > Pay Group, and click the RPN and AEPN tab.
2. In Legal Entity, select the employees’ legal entities that receive and process AEPN.
3. Important: You must select one or more legal entities to receive AEPN.
3. Select the Retrieve AEPN records during calculation checkbox.
4. Click Save.
