In the ROE sub-tab of Pay Run Management and Data Entry, you should regenerate the ROE forms that have already been generated (that is, forms that have the Pending status) in the following cases:
- When you need to update these forms with changes that have occurred in Dayforce such as updates to employee information from the HR record.
- When you update the First Day Worked (Block 10), Last Day for Which Paid (Block 11), and Final Pay Period End Date (Block 12) fields in the Dates, Reason & Special Payments tab of the ROE form, the Insurable Earnings and Hours tab does not automatically update, and you need to regenerate the ROE form to update the details in this tab.
You can regenerate ROE forms using one of the following ways:
- You can open the ROE form in the slide-out panel and click Regenerate:
-
- In the ROE sub-tab, select one or more entries from the list and click Regenerate > Regenerate Selected from the toolstrip.
- In the ROE sub-tab, click Regenerate > Regenerate All from the toolstrip to regenerate all of the ROEs that have the Pending status. When you use the Regenerate All option, Dayforce regenerates ROEs regardless of your current filter settings. For example, if the ROE entry for an employee is currently filtered off of the list, Dayforce still regenerates the ROE form for that entry.
Dayforce runs the regenerate function as a background job, so that you can keep working while the forms regenerate.
Once the regenerate process is complete, an edit icon is shown in the first column of the entry, and you need to click Save.
