Overview of Adding Entries to Edit Sets

After you load an edit set in a pay run, there are three ways that you can add entries to edit sets in the Quick Entry sub-tab.

Before You Begin: To assign entries to an edit set, you or another user must load the edit set for the pay run. See Load Edit Sets.

How to add entries to edit sets
Method Description
Enter edit set mode and create edit sets You can select an edit set from the Edit Set button in the toolstrip to enter edit set mode for that edit set. See Edit Set Mode.
Assign edit sets to individual quick entries You can record quick entries against edit sets without entering edit set mode. You can do this by selecting an option from the Edit Set column of the quick entry list when you create individual quick entries. See The Quick Entry Tab.
Import entries that are assigned to edit sets. You can import quick entries that are assigned to edit sets by defining the edit set in the CSV file that you import. See Import and Export Items to Individual Pay Runs.
