In the ROE sub-tab of Pay Run Management and Data Entry, you can move existing ROE entries from the current pay run to the next scheduled pay run (and ROEs from the next scheduled pay run to the current pay run) of the pay group. You can also move them to off-cycle pay runs that are open and associated with the current or next pay run. The off-cycle pay run must have the Record of Employment type defined in its details.
Note the following about moving ROEs:
- You can move ROEs that are in the Requested or Pending status, but you cannot move ROEs that are in the Committed status.
- Note: Committed ROE entries aren’t displayed in the Data Entry tab and are only displayed when you load a committed pay run in the Pay Run Management tab.
- You can move ROEs that have been locked. (See Lock ROEs.)
- Any data that you’ve saved in the ROE form is also carried over to the new pay run.
- You can move ROEs to other pay runs as many times as needed.
There are two ways you can move ROEs in the ROE sub-tab:
- Select one or more entries from the list and click Move > Move Selected from the toolstrip.
- Click Move > Move All from the toolstrip to move all of the ROEs that have the Requested or Pending status. When you use the Move All option, the application moves ROEs regardless of your current filter settings. For example, if the ROE entry for an employee is currently filtered off of the list, the application still moves the ROE form for that entry.
When you select one of these options, the application displays a dialog box for moving the ROEs. In the dialog box, the Pay Run column displays the pay run that the ROE is assigned to, and the Move To Pay Run column is populated with the first available pay run that you can move the ROE to.
You can click the field below the Move To Pay Run column to select another available pay run. In this example, the ROEs that you want to move are currently assigned to the next regular pay run, and you can move them to the current pay run or to an off-cycle pay run:
In the Data Entry tab, if you are moving ROE entries for more than one pay group, the application displays a separate list item for each pay group.
After you click OK at the bottom right of the dialog box, the application moves the ROE entries to the selected pay run. These entries are no longer available in the previous pay run. If needed, you can click Move to move the ROEs again.
