Every time a new tax is located that isn’t already registered at the legal entity level, Dayforce shows an alert to tell you that you need to start the process of applying for a Tax ID number with DTS.
Dayforce can show this alert when employee taxes are located. For example, when an administrator clicks Refresh Employee Taxes in Org Setup > Organization, updates an individual employee's information in People, or when they recalculate a pay run in Payroll > Pay Run Management.
