Employee pension schemes aren’t mandatory in Ireland. However, if the employer does set up a pension scheme, it must enter into a contract with a PRSA provider. Employers must notify employees of the total employee and employer pension contributions in writing, at least once per month and usually on their payslip. For details about the specific requirements, see the Pensions Authority website www.pensionsauthority.ie.

The Net Pay section includes the method of deposit and the account number, as set up in the Payroll > Direct Deposit screen in People.

The Employer Taxes section is optional, and contains employer taxes, such as PRSI ER, on online payslips. You can turn on the Employer Taxes section in the Payroll section of Properties tab in System Admin > Client Properties, by selecting Ireland in the Display Employer Taxes on Earning Statement drop-down list. See Client Properties - Payroll in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
