FLSA Overtime Adjustments Generated from WFM

In the WFM module, FLSA overtime adjustments are generated via the FLSA Overtime Adjustment pay policy rule. Among other settings in this rule, you define the WFM pay code that triggers the application to create the overtime pay adjustment (for example, a Bonus pay code).

In WFM, you can trigger the application to generate an FLSA overtime adjustment by importing an XML file that contains pay adjustments, with details including employee, amount (for example, bonus amount), and FLSA start and end date.

You can do this in the Timesheet feature by clicking Import and uploading the file, or by running the Employee Pay Adjustment Import. When you import an adjustment, and the pay code matches what is defined in the FLSA Overtime Adjustment rule, the application generates the appropriate overtime adjustment. This adjustment is transmitted to the Payroll module and maps to the associated Payroll premium earning code that is shown on the employee earning statement.
