Payroll administrators can configure the employee self-service (ESS) feature in Dayforce to provide employees secure access to their own pay statements and tax forms. Employees can view these documents online and print them for their own records.
These payroll statements and tax forms are available in ESS:
- Compensation statements
- Earning statements
- End of employment forms or statements
- P45 forms (UK only)
- Record of Employment forms (Canada only)
- State Wage Allocation statements (US only)
- Supportive payroll statements that have been imported into Dayforce
- Year-end tax forms
As part of the ESS feature of Dayforce, Earnings in the navigation panel gives employees online access to their earning statements and year-end tax forms.
Access to Earnings and its various sub-tabs can be restricted to certain user roles. For example, as the payroll administrator, you could create a user role for a group of terminated employees so that you can provide this group with restricted access to their end of employment forms. You can even define when earning statements and tax forms in the ESS are made available to employees.
