To edit a deferral rule:
- Go to Pensions > Set-up and click the Deferral tab.
- Click the row of the pay group, pay class, pay type, or employee property for which you want to edit the rule.
- Click Edit to open the Edit Deferral Period dialog box.
- Update the Deferral Type selection and, if applicable, the increments settings for the rule.
- Click Save.
Note: Even if multiple rules use the same deferral period, updating the period settings in one rule doesn’t update the others. You must open and update each rule individually.
