E-IWO Import Feature Configuration

The following are prerequisites and configuration requirements for setting up and using the E-IWO Import feature.

Contact the e-IWO Team

The first step in the process is to contact the e-IWO team at eiwomail@acf.hhs.gov to begin.

The e-IWO team can guide you through the process to set up the file communication process using SFTP, FTPS, or FTP (with VPN).

Add the E-IWO Import Role Feature in Dayforce

The next step in the process is to configure your instance of Dayforce to use the E-IWO Import feature.

The E-IWO Import feature contains the following options:

  • E-IWO Import
    • OSCE Ack File
    • Overview
      • Import
    • Support Order
      • Publish

To add the E-IWO Import role feature and access authorizations:

  1. Go to System Admin > Roles and select the user role to add the E-IWO Import feature to.
  2. Click the Features tab.
  3. Locate, expand, and select the E-IWO Import feature checkbox and all of the sub-feature checkboxes under it.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click the Authorizations tab.
  6. Locate and select the checkboxes for Can Create, Can Read, Can Update, and Can Delete for the following entries:
    • E-IWO Import - Import Capability
    • E-IWO Import - OSCE Acknowledgement File Capability
    • E-IWO Import - Publish Capability
  7. Click Save.
