After a garnishment payment for a Canadian employee is included in a committed pay run, you cannot delete the garnishment record from the employee's profile. The Delete button in the Garnishments screen becomes disabled when you select the garnishment from the list. However, once this is the case, you can continue to edit any of the settings of the garnishment record, with the exception of the following, which become read-only:
- Type
- Issuing Province
- Order Number
- Payee
If needed, you can deactivate the garnishment at any time by clearing the Active checkbox.
