Create Employee Work Location Overrides

Before You Begin: Make sure you're familiar with the concepts related to employee work location overrides in Employee Work Location Overrides.

To create an employee work location override:

  1. Go to Org Setup > Org Payroll Setup > Employee Work Location Overrides.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter the employee work location override details:
    1. In the Location Name field, enter a name for the work location override.
    2. (Optional) Enter a description for the work location override.
    3. In the Allow Legal Entity Override column, select the checkbox to enable the override.
    4. In the Reference Code field, enter an XRefCode for the work location override.
  4. In the Address tab, enter the address details for the employee work location override.
  5. Click Save.

You’re now ready to apply this work location override in the employee profile in People, in the Work > Work Assignments screen.

Note: You can apply the work location override only for employees who belong to pay groups of native payroll countries.
