Configure the Election Management Client Property

This client property controls whether the Election Management feature can process and track HR events. See Election Management.

After you configure the property, it might take up to several minutes before the application begins tracking HR events. The Calculate Election Management background job uses these events to evaluate employee elections for any employee who had an event generated for them. See Configure the Calculate Election Management Background Job.

To configure the Election Management client property:

1. Go to System Admin > Client Properties, and then click the Properties tab.
2. In the General section, select the Election Management Engine Event Bus Enabled checkbox.
3. Click Save.
