You can commit WFM time in Payroll for all locations associated with a normal, uncommitted pay run. By committing WFM from Payroll, you don’t have to go from Payroll to the Pay Admin Checklist to commit WFM time.
Before You Begin: To add role access to commit WFM data from Payroll in the Overview and Pay Run Management tabs, you must select the Commit WFM checkbox (in the Features tab of System Admin > Roles for the Payroll > Overview and Payroll > Pay Run Management features). See "The Role Feature Library” for the “Payroll Feature" section in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
The Can Create checkboxes must also be selected for the Approve Org Pay Period for Transmit and Pay Period Locking access authorizations (in the Authorizations tab of System Admin > Roles. See Access Authorizations in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
Commit WFM Data from the Overview Tab
- Go to Payroll > Overview.
- Select the checkbox for the appropriate normal pay run.
- Click Process Job and then click Commit WFM.
- In the Confirmation dialog box, click Proceed and wait for the process to complete.

Commit WFM Data from the Pay Run Management Tab
- Go to Payroll > Pay Run Management.
- Locate the appropriate pay run and click Load.
- Click Process Job, and then click Commit WFM and wait for the process to complete.
