In the Bank Accounts tab of Payroll Setup > Bank Accounts, enter bank account details for your organization. These accounts are used to send direct deposits for the legal entities in your organization. After you configure a bank account, you can assign it to a legal entity in Org Setup > Org Payroll Setup > Legal Entity.
You must define the following fields for Australian bank accounts:

| Name | Name for the bank account in Dayforce. The name is used when you assign bank accounts to legal entities in Org Setup and is also displayed in employee earning statements. |

| Reference Code |
Field for entering a reference code. Reference codes, also known as cross-reference codes, are used in Dayforce, usually in exports and imports, to integrate into other applications and systems used by your organization. Reference codes can also help you identify the different elements in the application in the scripts and processes that export your organization's data from Dayforce. |

| BSB Code | Six-digit Bank State Branch number used to identify the specific branch of the bank account. The application auto-populates the Bank Name field when you enter a valid BSB code. |
| Account Number | Minimum of six digit bank account number used to generate the ABA file. |
| Bank Name | (Read-only) Bank name of the bank account. The application populates this field based on a valid code entered in the BSB Code field. |

| Client Identification Name | Name used by the bank to identify your organization. To align with the client full name on the .aba file, the maximum length is 26 characters. |

Checkbox to indicate if this is a self-balancing record that needs to be inserted into the ABA file for uploading to Australian banks. |
