Additional payroll statements refer to PDF versions of supporting documents that are created outside of Dayforce, such as statements that provide supplementary details about an employee’s pay in a pay period. These documents can be imported into Dayforce and displayed in the following features:
- People: Payroll and human resource administrators can view additional payroll statements in Statements > Additional Statements.
- Earnings: In the employee self-service feature, employees can view the additional payroll statements in the Additional Statements tab in Earnings. These payroll statements are also available in the Dayforce mobile app in the Earnings feature.
When imported, the additional payroll statements are organized under the DF Doc Additional predefined document type in Document Management, and are identified using the entity type Employee File. See the Document Management Guide.
Import Additional Payroll Statements
Your Dayforce administrator is given access to a secure FTP site where the PDF files you want to import are copied into a subfolder in the Import folder. The name of the subfolder is DocumentImport. You might have to create this folder if it does not appear in the Import folder. The file name of each PDF file must be unique and must include the associated employee number. For example, DE0001_AdditionalStatement_20221118.pdf where DE0001 is the employee number.
The additional payroll statements that have been successfully imported are displayed in the Document Explorer in Document Management.
See Import Additional Payroll Statements.
