In Benefits Set-up > Plans and Options, you must set up a Benefits plan and option for pension auto-enrolment (My Future Fund). The plan and option define the plan type and employer contribution percentage.
To add Benefits pension plan:
- Go to Benefits Set-up > Plans and Options.
- In the toolstrip, click Add > Add Plan to open the Add Plan dialog box.
- Select Ireland and Retirement.
- In the Plan Sub Type field, select Defined Contribution Pension Plan.
- Click Add.
- In the General tab, enter a name, unique reference code, and effective start and end date for the plan.
- Click Save.
To add an option to the plan:
- Go to Benefits Set-up > Plans and Options.
- Expand the Retirement section and select the plan.
- Click Add > Add Option.
- In the General tab, enter an option name and unique reference code.
- In the Taxability field, select None.
- In the Beneficiaries field, select Do not Allow.
- In the Contribution tab, ensure that the Auto Enrol tab is not selected.
- In the Options Consist of field, select Employer Contribution.
- In the Taxability field, select None.
- In the Contribution Based On field, select Percentage and set the percentage to 1.5.
- Click Save.
