Dayforce lists the number of problems on time and attendance records for each location in a pay group during the pay period. If any problems exist, you can access the location’s timesheet directly from Pay Admin Checklist to correct them.
Role feature access:
- Pay Admin Checklist > Fix Problem Time Entries
- Timesheets or Time Review
Depending on how Dayforce is configured, you can access Timesheets or Time Review through Pay Admin Checklist.
To correct timesheet problems:
- Go to Pay Admin Checklist.
- Select a row. Dayforce shows problem time entries, active entries, unauthorized records, and retro problems as icons in the Exceptions column. Hover the cursor over each column to show the number of records with the specific exception type.
- Click the organization name. Dayforce opens the timesheet, where you can update the records.
- Correct any problems. See “Correct Time, Attendance, and Pay” in the Manager Guide.
- Save the timesheet and return to Pay Admin Checklist to continue the pay approve process.
Default Favorite Filter in Timesheets
When you access Timesheets through Pay Admin Checklist, Dayforce applies the System Exception Filter by default. This is a favorite filter listed in the Favorites drop-down list in the Timesheets window:
Note: This favorite filter is unavailable when you access Timesheets through the navigation panel.
When this filter is applied, Dayforce shows timesheets only for employees with exception issues to improve performance. Exceptions issues include problems and unauthorized records, amongst others. This filter also applies when pay group calendar records are spread across multiple pages in Pay Admin Checklist.
To clear the filter and show all of the employees who work at the location that you selected, click Favorites > Clear Favorite.
