Review E-Signed Forms

Before You Begin: To complete this task, e-signature functionality must be enabled in Dayforce.

After employees sign forms, you can view and approve them in the following locations in Dayforce:

  • Message Center
  • Workflow Administration > Workflow Management
  • The Form Submissions section in the Forms screen of People

View Forms

The following task describes how to review and accept forms in Message Center, but the task is the same in the other locations.

To review a form:

  1. Go to Message Center and select the message containing the signed form.
  2. In the Response section, click View Signed Document.
  3. Note: If the employee declined their signature, this button will show View Declined Document. You will likely need to reject the declined form if the form is assigned to an approval workflow.
  4. In the View Signed Document dialog box, review the signature.
  5. Click Close.
  6. If the form is assigned to an approval workflow, click Accept or Reject.
  7. Note: If you click Reject, the onboarding employee will have the option of resubmitting guided process forms again from the Forms section of Getting Started, and the guided process workflow ("GP Monitoring") will be shown as Open (rather than Completed) in Workflow Administration > Workflow Management.

    If you reject an Income Tax Withholding Form, it cannot be resubmitted from the employee's Getting Started and will retain the Completed status even if rejected. If the employee role is granted access to update this form in the Features tab of System AdminRoles, under Profile > Profile Menu > Forms > Home Forms List, then the employee can update the form in the Forms tab of Profile.

Manage DocuSign Templates

If your organization uses DocuSign templates for onboarding employees, you can add additional templates or reset them. See Manage DocuSign E-signature Templates.
