The Onboarding Employee First Day Alert background job triggers notifications to let managers know when they have a new employee starting work in a specified number of days.

Offset days |
The number of days before or after the employee’s first day that the notification is sent. The first offset day is mandatory. Each offset day after that is optional. You can enter a negative number to send the notification before the employee’s first day or enter a positive number to send the notification after the employee’s first day. For example, if you wanted to send a notification to a manager for every day of the week, beginning on the day that the employee starts, you could enter 0 in the first field, 1 in the next, and 2 in the next. |
