A good onboarding experience is critical for successfully bringing a new employee (or internal transfer) into your team. The Onboarding features in Dayforce are designed to help you provide a smooth process for both your employees and their managers.
Note: To simplify wording, we will refer to all employees being onboarded as "new employees" unless we need to differentiate between employees who are brand new to the organization and employees who are transferring internally.
In Dayforce, the onboarding process is largely controlled by the onboarding policy, which specifies the information and tasks that are presented to your new employees in the Getting Started feature.
Additionally, you can configure manager checklists that guide your managers through the tasks they need to complete to prepare for and welcome new employees.
