To ensure that each set of users receives the appropriate notifications, go to System Admin > System Notifications and configure the appropriate settings in the following tabs:
- Use the Subscriptions tab to configure subscriptions by role or user.
- Use the Channels tab to define how notifications are delivered to employees. These settings determine the options that employees can use in their Profile > Settings > Notifications tab.
Note: Onboarding notifications aren’t sent to employees until sometime after midnight UTC on the date the employees' onboarding policy is active, when the background job to send them is run. If managers make updates before this date, their changes aren’t sent until this date.
Types of Notifications

Notifies managers when they have an employee starting work in a specified number of days. |
Onboarding Completion |
Notifies users when an employee has completed all of their onboarding tasks. There are three versions of the Onboarding Completion notification:
