Onboarding notifications inform the new employee, the hiring manager, and administrators of important tasks and when those tasks are at risk of becoming overdue.
These notifications are generated by background jobs (in System Admin > Background Jobs) that define when and how they run. The following background jobs are available for onboarding:
- Employee Onboarding Policy Expiry Alert
- Incomplete Onboarding Activities
- Onboarding Employee First Day Alert
- Onboarding Completion Alert
Users aren't sent notifications unless they are included in the subscriber lists in System Admin > System Notifications. See Configure Notification Subscriptions for Onboarding.
