Onboarding features to assign to administrator roles

Onboarding Setup > Income Tax Withholding Forms Configuration

Assign this feature to users who need to add and update Income Tax Withholding Forms available to new employees in Getting Started.

Onboarding Setup > Key People Configuration

Assign this feature to users who need to specify the key people in your organization.

Onboarding Setup > Manager Checklist Configuration

Assign this feature to users who need to create and update the tasklists that managers use to onboard new employees.

Onboarding Setup > Onboarding Policy

Assign this feature to users who need to add and update onboarding policies. These policies control what new employees see in Getting Started.

Onboarding Setup > Onboarding Policy > Checklist Completion Confetti

Assign this feature to users who need to turn on or off confetti animation on employee checklist sections in the onboarding policy.

Onboarding > First Time Access Email > View all onboarding employees

Assign this feature to users who need to view all employees receiving First Time Access Emails (FTAEs), regardless of their location and manager. For example, you could use this feature for administrators to track progress for all of the organization's employees.

It is best practice to not assign this sub-feature to managers who need to see only their own onboarded employees.

Onboarding > Onboarding Employees > View all onboarding employees

Assign this feature to users who need to view all employees being onboarded, regardless of their location and manager. For example, you could use this feature so that an administrator can track onboarding progress for all of the organization's employees.

It is best practice to not assign this sub-feature to managers who need to see only their own onboarded employees.

Note: The calculation of the employee’s onboarding progress updates every four hours. The calculation is based on the statuses of tasks assigned to the employee and employee’s manager, including the statuses of forms within guided processes assigned to the employee.

Workflow Administration > E-Signature Configuration

Assign this feature to users who need to configure workflow forms that need to be signed digitally.

Note: To use this feature, you must set up an external e-signature group for OAuth 2.0 authentication. See Configure E-Signature Authentication.

Workflow Administration > E-Signature Configuration > Form Configuration Assign this feature to users who need to specify which forms can be signed digitally.

Workflow Administration > Guided Processes

Assign this feature to users who need to configure guided processes, which are collections of forms that new employees need to complete.
