You can select recipients in two ways:
- Enter the recipient's name in the To field. Dayforce shows the applicable users.
- Use the People Finder to apply criteria to search for recipients:
To select recipients using the people finder:
- In the Compose drop-down list, select the message type.
- Click To. The People Finder opens for you to apply criteria to search for recipients.
- In the People Finder slide-out panel, specify your filter criteria using the fields provided.
- Select the checkboxes beside the recipients' names that you want to send the message to.
- Click Add People to add the selected employees or click All to add all of the selected employees to your recipient list.
- Note: You can filter the recipients multiple times, in multiple ways, and Dayforce continues to show the employees who match the filter criteria. For example, you could first filter for Account Executives, and then filter for part-time employees.
- Close the People Finder slide-out panel.
After you select all of the necessary recipients, you can compose your message or broadcast. Dayforce provides text formatting controls, so that you can format your message. When you’re finished, click Send to send the message or click Save Draft if you aren't ready to send it yet.
