When you are sending a bulk letter, the second step of the wizard allows you to select multiple recipients. You can choose employees with pre-start, active, and inactive status that you have access to in Dayforce. This step includes the following read-only fields:
- From: Displays your name as the letter sender.
- Subject: Displays the subject line of the email message that is sent to the employees. The subject line is defined in the template that you selected.
To choose the employees to include in your bulk letter distribution:
- Add employees to the Choose Employees field in the following ways:
- Start typing the employee's name, then click the name to add them one at a time to the recipient list.
- To update the recipient list, you can click the X icon beside any name to remove that employee, or click the [Number] Selected link to add, filter, or remove employees. Click the Remove selected Employees link to clear the entire list.
- Click To to use a Search dialog box to filter the employee list. Select the employees, click Add, then click Select to include the employees in the recipient list.
- Select a date in the Effective From field. The template needs this date to determine what data to use for tokens that have effective dates. For example, your bulk letter could advertise the dates of a limited company-wide wellness program that starts and ends on certain dates.
