Overview of Sending Letters

Before You Begin: See Prerequisites and Requirements.

You can send a letter in Letter Management > Distribution by clicking Send a Letter in the toolstrip. Dayforce displays a wizard with the following steps:

  1. Go to Letter Management > Distribution and click Send a Letter.
  2. Select the template that you want to base the letter on:
  3. List of templates.
  4. See Select a Template.
  5. Select a recipient and fill out the Required Information section:
  6. Select Recipients screen of the wizard.

  8. Define the letter's settings, preview the letter, and then submit the letter. In the letter, Dayforce replaces the tokens of the selected template with values for the specific employee. For example, name, job assignment, and salary:
