Delete Files in the Attachments Tab

In the Attachments tab of Letter Management > Template Designer, you can delete files at any time, including documents other users uploaded.

If a file has already been added to a template that has been used in a letter, the deleted file remains available in that letter. However, it isn't available in other letters going forward. Dayforce displays a warning to indicate that this is a case each time that you delete a file.

To delete a file:

  1. Go to Letter Management > Template Designer and click the Attachments tab.
  2. Select the file that you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete and click OK to confirm. At this point, the file is removed.
