Widget Types

Several types of widgets can be added when configuring pages in Learning Setup > Pages Setup. See Add Widgets to Pages.

Available page widgets
Widget	Description
Activity Overview	Shows statistics about the user’s activity, such as the number of courses in which the user is enrolled as well as the number of Completed, In Progress, and Not Started courses. Depending on the widget settings, other types of information might be shown.
Activities Stream	Shows the latest platform activities performed by the user, such as the latest attended courses.
Catalogs	Shows the list of the courses the users can purchase or that they can subscribe to. Catalogs are defined in Learning Setup > Catalog Setup. Catalogs that have been assigned to you are displayed in the Courses Catalog tab in the Learning feature.
Channels	Shows the courses the user is enrolled in, sorted by channels. Note: This feature is only available to customers that have purchased the Coach and Share add-on.
Courses and Learning Plans	Shows all of the courses and learning plans the user is enrolled in. Note: If you don’t insert this widget in a user’s page, they can’t see their courses or learning plans when they log in.
Custom Content Box	Composed of a background (either filled with a solid color or an image) with three elements laying over it: a content title, a content subtitle, and a button linking to a URL.
Embed Video	Used to embed the YouTube, Vimeo, or Wistia video players in your widget page. Note: The original video platform completely manages the player aspect and settings.
HTML/WYSIWYG	Allows you to create custom HTML content. Select whether you want to use the HTML or WYSIWYG editor and enter your code in the dedicated area. Important: You should have experience working with this type of content in order to properly configure the widget.
iFrame	Shows content from an external URL. You can copy and paste the link of the website that you want to show in the widget. Important: You should have experience working with iFrames to properly configure the widget.
Image	Used to display an image. Images can redirect to a destination URL, so that when users click the image, they are redirected to that URL. Supported file formats for images are PNG and JPG. The maximum file size is 4MB. Images are displayed according to the available width. Because the original image aspect ratio is preserved, the widget height will be resized accordingly.
My Calendar	Shows a calendar listing all of the courses in which the user is enrolled. The calendar aspect might vary considerably depending on the selected type of view and on the widget size.
My KPIs	Shows a list of statistics related to users and courses. The widget layout changes depending on the type of user currently logged into the platform.
My Profile	Allows you to display the avatar and profile information of the user who is currently logged into the platform.
Questions and Answers	Shows the questions and answers from the Coach and Share add-on. Note: This feature is only available to customers that have purchased the Coach and Share add-on.
Share Content	Shows the content shared by the user. Note: This feature is only available to customers that have purchased the Coach and Share add-on.
Task List	Shows the tasks assigned to the user. The task list only shows data relating to courses up to 90 days in the future.
