Skills

Skills represent the abilities that help your employees succeed in their role. Each skill can be assigned a skill type and have multiple skill levels associated with it. You can also define (based on the settings for the assigned skill type) whether the skill can be used in scheduling.

If an employee must complete a course or learning plan to acquire the skill, you can record that information in the Courses and Learning Plans section. The application automatically assigns the skill to any employee who completes one of the associated courses or learning plans.
