If a customer cancels their partnership with their LMS vendor, you can clear the checkbox to deactivate the integration in Dayforce.
When the checkbox is cleared, the following occurs:
- The vendor is marked as canceled in the Dayforce database and learner information is no longer shared with that vendor.
- The LMS integration role features (noted in the table above) are removed from the Features tab of System Admin > Roles.
- LMS background jobs no longer run in System Admin > Background Jobs.
- Notifications related to learning resources from the canceled vendor are no longer sent for learners, managers, or administrators.
- If learners try to access learning resources from the canceled vendor, they’re shown a message informing them that it’s no longer available.
Note: Skills that were added to learner profiles through the LMS integration are saved.
In Use
This checkbox is selected by default when you enable learning. If needed, you can clear the In use checkbox to remove all Learning access and pause the related background jobs and notifications.
Enable Coach and Share (only if the client has purchased the feature)
Select this checkbox to turn on the Coach and Share functionality for customers who have purchased the Coach and Share add-on.
When the Coach and Share feature is enabled, learners have access to the following subfeatures of Learning:
- All Channels
- My Channels
- Contribute
- My Coaching Activity
- My Experts
In addition, super admin users are assigned access to the Channels Setup section in Learning Setup.
Environment Settings
Select the Stage, Config, or Train checkbox to exclude the value from the namespace in the expected DCB URL.
For example, the namespace for a staging environment is [namespaceSTAGE]
and the expected DCB URL is [namespaceStage]test.docebosaas.com
. Select the Stage checkbox and the expected URL is updated to [namespace]test.docebosaas.com
.
URL Configuration
Custom URL (only if a custom namespace is required)
Select this checkbox to indicate that you want to use a custom URL. The application appends the current Dayforce namespace with LMS.
Offset
Enter the number you want Dayforce to add to the current Dayforce namespace. For example, 22.
DCB URL
Displays the URL that Dayforce will use to connect to your LMS.
System Status
Verify Docebo Instance
Click the Test button to verify your Docebo instance.
JWT Keys Configuration
Use this section to generate the JSON web token (JWT) public and private keys needed to integrate Dayforce Learning with the LMS. For the Learning features, Dayforce acts as the server, which keeps the private key, and Docebo is the second party that has the public key.
Click Generate to generate the keys, and then click Save. Once you have saved the keys, the Test button is enabled.
Click Test to test the communication between the two parties. If the test is successful, the private key was saved successfully in Dayforce and the public key was also sent successfully to Docebo.
