Role Features for Learners

Most of the features for learners (the people who will be completing courses and learning plans) are located under the main Learning feature in the Features tab of System Admin > Roles.

The Learning feature has two sub-features, which determine whether the role is assigned a custom menu or the standard menu. The Standard Menu and Custom Menu sub-features include several additional sub-features.

Sub-Feature	Description
All Channels	Allows learners to view the channels they've been assigned access to.
Contribute	Allows learners to contribute their own course content, either by uploading or linking existing content, or recording their screen. Note: This feature is only available if you have purchased the Coach and Share add-on.
Courses Catalog	Allows learners to view all of the courses available to them.
Learning Activities	Allows learners to track their learning, view statistics about their progress, ask questions, and contribute to discussions.
Learning Calendar	Allows learners to view assigned courses in a calendar format.
My Channels	Allows learners to add and view contributions to the channels they've been assigned access to. Note: This feature is only available if you have purchased the Coach and Share add-on.
My Checklists	Allows learners to review observation checklists that they’ve been assigned to as either an observer or approver.
My Coaching Activity	Allows learners to answer questions that other users have posed and peer review other users' content. Note: This feature is only available if you have purchased the Coach and Share add-on.
My Courses and Learning Plans	Allows learners to see what courses and learning plans are assigned to them and how much progress they've made against them.
My Expert Tasks	Allows learners identified as subject matter experts to answer questions and review/approve content. Note: This feature is only available if you have purchased the Coach and Share add-on.
Overview	Provides learners a consolidated view of other features such as channels and contributions.
Questions & Answers	Allows learners to ask questions and view other learners' answers. Note: This feature is only available if you have purchased the Coach and Share add-on.
