To configure a skill:
- Go to Learning Setup > Skills.
- In the Skills tab, click Add.
- Enter a name for the skill.
- In the Skill Type drop-down list, select a skill type to group this skill with.
- In the Skill Levels drop-down list, select the levels of proficiency an employee can possess for this skill.
- To show an icon for this skill, click the Upload link and select an image file.
- (Optional) Enter a description and a cross-reference code.
- Click Save.
You can also configure skills so that employees must complete a course or learning plan to earn them. See Link Skills to Courses or Learning Plans.
