Configure Skills

To configure a skill:

  1. Go to Learning Setup > Skills.
  2. In the Skills tab, click Add.
  3. Enter a name for the skill.
  4. In the Skill Type drop-down list, select a skill type to group this skill with.
  5. In the Skill Levels drop-down list, select the levels of proficiency an employee can possess for this skill.
  6. To show an icon for this skill, click the Upload link and select an image file.
  7. (Optional) Enter a description and a cross-reference code.
  8. Click Save.

You can also configure skills so that employees must complete a course or learning plan to earn them. See Link Skills to Courses or Learning Plans.
