Configure Notification Subscriptions for Learning

To ensure that the correct users receive the appropriate learning notifications in Message Center, configure notification subscriptions by role or user in the Subscriptions tab of System Admin > System Notifications.

Notification	Description
Certification Expiration	Assign to the appropriate administrator role. Notifies subscribed users when certifications have expired. There are three versions of the Certification Expiration notification; Dayforce sends the version or versions that you specify in the corresponding background job: Certification Expiration - Administrator Certification Expiration - Employee Certification Expiration - Manager
Certification Expiration Approaching	Assign to the appropriate roles. Notifies subscribed users when certifications are set to expire. There are three versions of the Certification Approaching Expiration notification; Dayforce sends the version or versions that you specify in the corresponding background job: Certification Expiration Approaching - Administrator Certification Expiration Approaching - Employee Certification Expiration Approaching - Manager
Course Approaching Enrollment Deadline - Employee	Assign to the appropriate employee role. Notifies subscribed users when their course enrollment deadlines are coming up. When the employee is enrolled in an e-learning course, the message includes a link that takes the learner directly to the course.
Course Approaching Enrollment Deadline - Manager	Assign to the appropriate manager role. Notifies subscribed users when their employees' course enrollment deadlines are coming up.
Course Enrollment Deadline Past Due - Employee	Assign to the appropriate employee role. Notifies subscribed users when their course enrollments are overdue.
Course Enrollment Deadline Past Due - Manager	Assign to the appropriate manager role. Notifies subscribed users when their employees' course enrollments are overdue.
Course Session Details Update	Assign to the appropriate employee role. Notifies subscribed users that have been assigned to a course when there is a change to a session that they are enrolled in. The alert is sent when you run the Synchronize LMS Data background job and a change to an ILT (Instructor-Led Training) session is detected. The message includes a link to an ICS file that the learner can download to add or update the associated course sessions in their calendar.
Course Status Update - Employee	Assign to the appropriate employee role. Notifies employees when an e-learning or ILT (Instructor-Led Training) session that they’re enrolled in is canceled or if the learner is unenrolled from the session. The message includes a link to an ICS file that the learner can download to add or update the associated course sessions in their calendar.
Learner Completed a Course - Manager	Assign to the appropriate manager role. Notifies managers when a user on their team has completed a course.
Learner Completed a Learning Plan - Manager	Assign to the appropriate manager role. Notifies managers when a user on their team has completed a learning plan.
Learner Enrolled into Course - Employee	Assign to the appropriate employee role. Notifies employees when they have been enrolled in a course. When the employee is enrolled in an e-learning course, the message includes a link that takes the learner directly to the course. Note: The link takes the learner to the platform version of the course. It doesn’t link to the Dayforce Learning App. The message includes a link to an ICS file that the learner can download to add or update the associated course sessions in their calendar.
Learning - On The Job Checklist	Notifies users when an observation checklist is ready for their observations or approval. This notification is only used for checklists that are scheduled based on course completion.
Learner Waiting List - Employee	Assign to the appropriate roles. Notifies employees when any of the following changes occur to their waiting list status for a course: Learner is added to a waiting list. Learner is removed from a waiting list. The course has been canceled. The message includes a link to an ICS file that the learner can download to add or update the associated course sessions in their calendar.
Skill Approaching Expiration	Assign to the appropriate roles. Notifies subscribed users when skills are set to expire. There are three versions of the Skill Approaching Expiration notification; Dayforce sends the version or versions that you specify in the corresponding background job: Skill Approaching Expiration - Administrator Skill Approaching Expiration - Employee Skill Approaching Expiration - Manager

Upcoming Session Based Course - Employee	Assign to the appropriate employee role. Notifies employees who are enrolled as a learner, instructor, or tutor in an upcoming session-based course. The message includes a link to an ICS file that the employee can download to add or update the associated course sessions in their calendar.
