Configure Automatic Renewals for Certifications

You can configure automatic renewals for certifications in Dayforce. Learners are automatically re-enrolled in the associated course or learning plan when their certification approaches its expiry date.

To configure an automatic renewal:

  1. Go to Learning Setup > Certifications.
  2. In the Automatic Renewals section for the certification, select the Automatic Renewal checkbox.
  3. Click the Add button to open the Add a Course or Learning Plan dialog box, and then select the course or learning plan to automatically enroll employees in when their certification is expiring.
  4. Select the time domain from the drop-down in the Offset section:
    • Number of Days
    • Number of Months
    • Number of Weeks
  5. Then, enter the associated number in the next field. For example, select Number of Days and enter 2 in the field to configure an offset period of two days.
  6. Click Save.

Note: When you add a learning plan and click Save, Dayforce checks whether any of the required courses are already assigned to learners in another learning plan. If they are, an error message is shown to inform you of the course duplication.
