This section describes the configuration settings available in the Alert tab in LMS Configuration.
ICS
Use this section to configure the inclusion of ICS files in LMS notifications.
Enable ICS
Clear the checkbox and Dayforce doesn’t include ICS files in LMS notifications. By default, this feature is enabled.
Job To Create
Run the background job to create ICS files.
Course(s)
Select the course to generate ICS files for from the drop-down list. You can select as many courses as necessary.
Course Session(s)
Select the course sessions to generate ICS files for from the drop-down list. You can select as many sessions as necessary.
Create All Missing ICS Documents
Select the checkbox to create all missing ICS files for the course sessions selected.
Update All Existing ICS Documents
Select the checkbox to update all existing ICS files for the course sessions selected.
Update Existing ICS Documents (Changes Only)
Select the checkbox to update all ICS files that have been changed since the last time the background job was run for the course sessions selected.
Alert Suppression
Use this section to specify whether notifications are sent to Learning users.
Suppress Learner Enrolled Alert
Select the checkbox and the Learner Enrolled into Course - Employee notification isn't sent for enrollments that are created or imported with the course status already set to Completed. Clear the checkbox and the notification is sent even if the course status is set to Completed.
