Accessing Your Account After it is Disabled

Your account is disabled if you attempt to:

  • Enter your security code unsuccessfully too many times
  • Answer your secret questions unsuccessfully too many times
  • Select your security image and enter your keyword, if required, unsuccessfully too many times
  • Have not logged in to your account for more than 180 days

The default number of unsuccessful attempts allowed to enter your security code and enter your security image and keyword, if required, is 3. The default number of unsuccessful attempts allowed to enter your secret questions and answers is also 3. Your organization can change those values.

To access your account after it is disabled, you must contact your system administrator. Your system administrator will send you either:

  • A Welcome email
  • An email with a new security code

If you receive a Welcome email, follow the same process as a first-time user. For more information, see See Logging in as a First Time User on page 1..

If you receive a new security code, follow the same process as described in See Accessing Your Account After Being Locked Out on page 1..
