User – Role/Attribute/Data Item by User

  1. To access the report, click the Reporting button on the Home page..
  2. In the Report Type field, select Event Reporting.
  3. In the Report Name field, select User – Role/Attribute/Data Item by User.
  4. In the Start Date field, click the calendar icon to select a start date from the date picker.
  5. In the End Date field, click the calendar icon to select a start date from the date picker.
  6. In the Event Type field, select the event type that you want to include in the report.
    When an event type is selected, it is added to the Event Type field. You can click X to remove that event type from the Event Type field. Alternatively, you can leave the Event Type field set to All to include all event types in the report. You can choose from the following event types:
    1. Users – Roles– When a user role is changed, Roles is listed in the Event Description column of the report. Additionally, the Old Role and New Role columns display the old and new roles respectively.
    2. Users – Role Attributes/Data Items – When role attributes or data items are changed, Role Attributes/Data Items is listed in the Event Description column of the report. Old role attributes, if applicable, are shown in the Old Attribute column. The new role attribute is shown in the New Attribute column, if applicable. Old data items such as PSID and FEIN are shown in the respective Old FEIN/Old PSID columns, if applicable. New data items are shown in the New FEIN/NEW PSID columns respectively and if applicable.
      Note: Any field containing no data is displayed as {b} to indicate that the data is not present in IAM.
  7. In the User Last/First Name field, type the name of the user using the last name, first name format.
    You can type a minimum of the first 2 characters of the last name to populate the list with last names that begin with those first 2 characters. The more of the name you type, the more the list of matching names is narrowed. Alternatively, you can leave the User Last/First Name field set to All to run the report against all users.
  8. In the User Status field, select Active to include only active users, Inactive to include only inactive users, or All to include both active and inactive users in the report.
