Event Reporting

Event reports show information about events such as changes by or to user accounts including event types, event descriptions, names, email addresses, dates, and times of the events.

Events included in Event Reporting are:

  • User – Login/Product Usage – This report shows dates and times when users logged in and out and when a partner product is selected from the IAM home page, over a specified date range.
  • Users using a direct URL to access Dayforce Tax are not captured in Product Usage reports.
  • User – Account Reset – This report shows the dates and times when a user’s account was reset. This includes when a security code or Welcome email was sent, over a specified date range.
  • User – Properties by User – This report shows changes to user account properties including the dates, times, old values, and new values for all data on the user’s master profile, over a specified date range.
  • User – Properties by ModifiedByUser – This report shows changes to user account properties including the dates, times, old values, and new values as well as information about the user account that made the changes for all data on the user’s master profile, over a specified date range.
  • User – Role/Attribute/Data Item by User – This report shows changes to user roles, attributes, and data items over a specified date range.
  • User – Role/Attribute/Data Item by ModifiedByUser – This report shows changes to user roles, attributes, and data items as well as well as information about the user account that made the changes over a specified date range.
  • Org – Properties By ModifiedByUser – This report shows changes to organization properties including the dates, times, old values, and new values as well as information about the user account that made the changes for all organization data, over a specified date range.
  • Org – Data Item By ModifiedByUser – This report shows changes to organization data items (PSID, FEIN, parent, district, and descriptions) including the dates, times, old values, and new values as well as information about the user account that made the changes for all organization data, over a specified date range.
  • Org Product/Role/Attribute By ModifiedByUser – This report shows changes to organization product assignments and role/attribute changes including the dates, times, old values, and new values as well as information about the user account that made the changes to the organization’s products, roles, and attributes over a specified date range.
  • User – Consolidated Report By User – This report provides reports for a single organization, user, or a combination of an organization and user. The reports show changes to user accounts sorted by user. The following reports have been added to the consolidated report:
    • User - Account Reset
    • User - Login/Product Usage
    • User - Properties By User
    • User - Role/Attribute/Data Item By User
  • User – Consolidated Report by ModifiedByUser – This report shows user reports for a single organization, user, or a combination of an organization and user. The reports show changes to user accounts sorted by the user that modified the account. The following reports have been added to the consolidated report:
    • User - Properties By ModifiedByUser
    • User - Role/Attribute/Data item By ModifiedByUser
  • Org – Consolidated Report – This report shows Org reports for a single organization, user, or a combination of an organization and user. The reports show changes to an organization sorted by the user account responsible for making the changes. The following reports have been added to the consolidated report:
    • Org-Properties By ModifiedByUser
    • Org-Data Item By ModifiedByUser
    • Org-Product/Role/Attribute ByModifiedByUser
    • Org-DataItemProfile By ModifiedByUser

The main difference between the Properties by User and the Properties by ModifiedByUser or the Role/Attribute/Data Item by User and the Role/Attribute/Data Item by ModifiedByUser reports is which user made the changes. For example, to see changes for a user, select the Properties by User report. To see changes a user made to another user, select the Properties by ModifiedByUser report.
