When you restore a topic, its subtopics are also restored. You can restore a subtopic without its parent topic if the parent topic is not archived. When you restore a topic that contains more than 30 subtopics, Dayforce shows a message indicating that only 30 subtopics can be restored at a time. Any remaining subtopics are still archived and show in the Archived tab. You can restore additional subtopics if you archive current subtopics under the topic.
To restore archived topics or subtopics:
- Go to HR Case Admin and click the Topics tab.
- In the Archived tab, click the options menu (⋮) for the topic or subtopic that you want to restore.
- Click Restore.
Dayforce moves restored topics and subtopics from the Archived tab to the Current tab.
