Hidden HR Cases

The Hidden HR Cases report is available in the list of Human Resources reports in Reporting and Analytics > Reporting > Reports. The report shows HR cases that are hidden in HR Case Management > Cases due to one or both of the following:

  • The location is unassigned: No HR team member has location access to the submitter’s location.
  • The topic or subtopic is inactive: No HR team member is assigned to the topic in the case that was submitted. A topic can become inactive, for example, if an HR team member who was previously assigned to a topic is no longer available.

You don’t need topic or location access to run this report. Assign it only to roles allowed to see any submitted case.

Access and configuration:  

  • Role feature access: Report Library > Human Resources > HR Case Management > Hidden HR Cases
  • Role authorization access: Employee Personal Information, HR Case Details, Reporting Relationship Keys (Can Read)

Note:  

  • The Employee Personal Information access authorization is for the Submitter Employee Number and Assignee Employee Number fields to show in the report.
  • The HR Case Details access authorization is for the Topic and Subtopic fields to show in the report.
  • The Reporting Relationship Keys access authorization is for the HR Case ID field to show in the report.

Fields

Report fields
Field Name Description
HR Case ID The unique numeric identifier of a case.
Submitted for Location Name The location of primary work assignment of the person who the case was submitted for on the day the report is pulled.
Location Unassigned?

The value will be true if no HR team member with access to HR Case Management has location access for the submitter’s location or the submitter does not have a location.

Topic The topic of the case when the report is pulled. Dayforce shows the archived tag (Archived) for existing cases that have archived topics or subtopics.
Subtopic The subtopic of the case when the report is pulled, if one exists. Dayforce shows the archived tag (Archived) for existing cases that have archived topics or subtopics.
Topic Unassigned?

The value will be true if no HR team member with access to HR Case Management has access to the case’s topic, or the subtopic if used.

Status The status of the case when the report is pulled.
Submitted for The person who the case was submitted for.
Submitted by The person who submitted the case.
Submitted for Employee Number The employee number of the person who the case is for.
Assignee The display name of the person who is assigned to the case when the report is pulled.
Assignee Employee Number The employee number of the person who is assigned to the case when the report is pulled.
Response Due Date The date and time that the next response from HR is due, in the time zone of the person pulling the report.
Submitted on Date The date and time when the case was submitted, in the time zone of the person pulling the report.
