This section describes how administrators manage topics for HR cases and configure HR team member access.

Before You Begin: HR Case Management > Cases role assignments must be configured for at least one of the HR team member's active (current or future) roles. Additionally, location access allows for HR team members to have visibility to HR cases. Location access is configured in Dayforce in the Location Access tab in the Security Access section in the Security Settings screen of People. For more information about location access, see Assign Location Access in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
Note: Configuration in HR Admin > People Role Security in Dayforce (which limits users with specified roles from accessing HR information of users with other specified roles) might affect the employee cases that HR team members can access. For more information, see People Role Security Setup in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
The HR Case Admin screen contains the following information for HR team members:
- HR Team Member: Display name and job assignment.
- User Roles: As configured in System Admin > Roles in Dayforce. This column only shows the roles that have HR Case Management > Cases configured and doesn’t show roles that aren’t assigned to that feature.
- Topic Access: Topics that you assigned the HR team member access to.

Filter
You can filter the list by clicking the down arrow beside the item you want to filter, and selecting your items from the listed options. Dayforce shows tags above the list that show your filter criteria. To remove a filter, you can click the x on a tag or click Clear All.
Search
Search for HR team members based on their display name, using insensitive casing and full or partial words. Search results are in real-time as you type. Search also shows an error if there are no results.
Note: You can filter and search at the same time.
