To assign or reassign a case:
- Go to HR Case Management > Cases and click the All tab.
- Select your desired case. The Assignee column indicates who the case is assigned to.
- Select an HR team member from the drop-down in the Assigned to field or select Assign to Me.
- Note: Users will show in this list only if they have HR Case Management > Cases configured for any of their (current) roles and are assigned to the topic. This can include non-employee users.
Dayforce shows an informational message, and the status of the case changes to Waiting for HR if it was previously open and unassigned or to Open if it was in progress and moved to unassign.
